Just got a message on Crew Trac from Dot saying there will be a pilot conference call with Mike Colgan and Phil Trenary tomorrow (01/22). Two times: 11:00 a.m. EST and 4:30 p.m. EST. The conference call phone number will be sent via Crew Trac Monday morning, as it's not the regular number. PLEASE call in and have a voice if you aren't working!!

Suupah, You are right on. All it will be is a hand holding, back slapping, happy good time. I doubt any useful information will come out of this three ringed circus.

Listen closely, they will say that there is no cause for concern and that both pilot groups need not fear. All while making no promises that they would have to keep in the long run. I can hear PT now, "I have been hearing that we plan to whipsaw pilot groups against one another, and that is just not the case". Care to put that in writing PT.

I am expecting them to paint a very bright and sun shiny picture that is very vague and open ended. There is already a labor crisis on both sides of this house and they don't want it to get any worse. I expect them to tell us that it is better for both groups. which we all know is probably not the case.

PT likes to talk a big game, but he definitely doesn't like to put anything down on paper. That was funny.

All Colgan pilots. You will now be refered to as a great group of Pinnacle "People". What does it really mean. Nothing.

He'll tell you that we need to help take care of each other too. Why? Because they don't.

All will be given the choice of lubricant, regardless of pilot group.

Apparently, Pinnacle pilots are not priveledged to this call. As you can see, we are allready being left in the dark about the companies intentions. It is getting more clear that we are intended to be at the losing end of this deal.

You think they are actually going to tell us the TRUTH about anything anyway? The call is protected with employee names also, so I don't think it will let anyone else in anyway. Didn't PCL have a webcast before we even knew about this at Colgan?

Anybody get on the first conference call? I just got the number about 5 mins ago. I may call on the second one if I have the time!!

Once it is over, could you post the bla bla. The rest of us are curious. Thanks.

ok it's over - "the bla bla"!!
Good work. Another successful FI post. Try not to be so helpful next time. Anyone else get in on the call or was it that obviously a snow job? I got the message and number, they said the call was at 5, then changed it forward to 4:30. I understand the secrecy, but I don't get why they would move the call up. I hope someone asked about the selling price and what was involved. There is no such thing as buying a 50 aircraft airline with routes like we have for only $20mil. That's bull. Colgans must have gotten upside-down with the expansion.

ok really - I've always said the Colgan wanted to be the largest operator of SAAB's - now I believe PAC just wants to own the largest operator of SAABs (or whatever else they can get us) and PAI. Let's hope they can get/keep contracts for both groups.

Has Pinnacle Air ever tried to get another contract with another carrier?

kinda funny, i was hittin the number to ask a question 10 or so times and they cut the call off. My question was that with the mesaba buyout today, would pcl pilots be flying saabs for nw if mesaba gets jets. He already stated that all new nw flying would be done with pcl pilots per the contract as we already knew. This is exactly what i expected out of the call. Nothing new to report, period.

So far, it sounds like things will go smooth.

You bet there will be no whipsaw of the pilot groups. What will happen is Management will pick the best part of both contracts and make a new on. The will use DOH for seniority and everyone will live happy ever after.

Can anyone go into more detail? I went on the crew site to get the minutes and of course the newest minutes are from April 06.

Sorry I couldn't help it - I like to try to fit in!

Nothing was changed "forward" it happened at 5 est, (4cst) which is what the conference call center people told me. The original time was 4:30est.

Colgan does not own 50 aircraft - most are leased, but sorry that question was not asked!
