Effective April 1st

Good deal for us cheeseheads. Now the real question is, what happens if AirTran acquires Midwest?

First two citys are MSP and EWR.

Arent those previously served cities by midwest? I thought it was going to be all new cities? just curious

Oh and Sewark Sucks but its good for making money. I had my last trip we were going EWR-BDL blocked at 1 hour but it is 28 minute flight. When we blocked in finally it was 3.1!! Gotta love the freak snow showers in EWR.

Yes those are both cities that are/were served by both the Dornier (Skyway) and Midwest 717's.

I smell a NWA+DAL merger.

Didn't hear anything about the Skywest destinations yet, but yes, both EWR and MSP are currently served by the 717.

I know they are trying to free up some of the 717 flying for some new destinations, they announced Seattle/Tacoma today.

Also, I agree with you, EWR sucks but the revenue is great.

Did you guys see any CRJ in Midwest colors yet? I think it will look sharp :)

Oh and welcome to Milwaukee guys.

It smells the same as the smell coming out of my daughter diaper or the smell escaping from my dogs a$$......

BTW - THe surf in Sheboygan isn't to bad 5 days a year but it can be COLD!!

Baja.

and you have Johnsonville there too....

Wolf...besides PDX and SLC what other destinations out west would you suspect as being credible for MEH?

Mitch:

Thanks for moving out--hell, I'd be number four as it stands; if I didn't have a place here already I'd do the MSN-MKE shuffle...

MC for Chief Pilot (course that means no LAX commute).

Question on the bidding - is there any priority difference between transfers and transitions? i.e. - If a bro guy senior to me is bidding aircraft transition and MKE base, will he get awarded before someone who is already on the CRJ bidding transfer? Probably a stupid question, but thought I'd ask...

When you guys get to MKE you have to check out the Landmark, and well the Airport Lounge (I think thats the name of the place).
