I applied on line for CHQ. Within five minutes I recieved an automated response that "We have selected another canidate". I am current 121 on EMB-145, but still have low time, just shy of 700 hours. Is there a minimum in the on line system that will automatically send a rejection letter if you don't make the cut?

CHQ minimums are 1500/300. No exceptions for anybody...unless you are a Delta Connection Academy graduate. I was current & qualified on the CL65, former intern, and about 100 hours shy of 1500 when they announced they were getting CRJs and I couldn't get a call for so much as an interview. Even two years ago, they had hard minimums of at least 1000tt.

Keep updating and keep flying...

I am not sure what they are looking for because I sent them my stuff a couple months back with 3500 TT, 1000 121 PIC, from IND, etc. I have not heard a word from them. Maybe they see me as a guy who would leave right away. Because I would.

I don't know about the automatic rejection letter, but as Boiler said, you wont get a phone call til that 1500, no matter how many people walk your stuff in. It has to do with the insurance mins. So, your stuck at tsa or mesa.

Word on the street is that they are about to drop the mins to 1000/300 for current 121 pilots because they can't get enough people. Just keep updating.

is it possible to get in with 2000/200 ATP and 4 year degree etc. just curious?

They can get around the Multi time, it's the 1500TT that is the hard number.

How "around" the multi can they get? Currently 2500TT/~25multi/1200 135. Flying a multi now, just wondering at what magic number I should start sending the applications. CHQ is #1 choice, but if it means waiting an extra six months...
