IF...I say again IF Skywest and CHQ gets all this flying, how the hell are they going to do it logistically? If you are flying for like 4 or 5 different companies with different types etc. Seems like it could become a nightmare...

not so much a nightmare... you only have to worry about flying one fleet type at a time, and flying for different codeshares gives you schedule flexibility, and a chance to change up the daily grind every once in a while. It is more of a nightmare for headquarters, but that too could be minimal if they just suck it up and base people appropriately (instead of this CRP crap... and which codeshare has anything even closely resembling a hub in IND?). Maybe SkyWest has or will have a more logical base structure, but not at CHQ. But then again, that isn't really my problem to worry about.

I don't think anyone cares. all we'll be worring about is getting the pic and getting a real flying job!

Do you really have to have 67E all bent up as your avtar?

I love that plane!!!

Anyways you should be glad...you will have other choices available to you beyond Mesa.

Yea I got that from another site. Mesa is not an option for me...I used this avtar after being harrassed by the Mesa Pilot development academy. I basically told them that they are/were making regional airline pilots job hell by making them sleep on an airplane and i would fly rubber dog poo out of Mcallen before I ever went to their academy or apply to their airline. No disrespect to those guys in the trenches at Mesa now but I don't want to add to their pilot pool and allow them to think thats the way to run an airline.

Off topic, but how can operations be smooth if you have airplanes painted different schemes etc. I know these companies will try to cut corners and make lives of the employees pretty miserable...just a thought....my .02

Mesa has all-white "ghost ships" that serve as switch-hitters between codeshares (they also serve as under-the-shareholder's-radar executive transports). Crews usually stay under the codeshare for their domicile.

SKW has airplanes painted with a legacy Skywest theme that can switch-hit. SKW crews routinely swap between codeshares as part of their normal scheduled workday. It's a little tougher...you have to think about whether to say "united express" or "delta connection" on the PA. You also have to remember to go to the correct terminal when you go to work....

Saw a United ERJ 135/145 taxing into the CVG A concourse.

So if they have to they jsut use what they have available, I doubt the pax's care anyway.

I don't think the passengers care.....in places where we share the ramp with multiple codeshares, I'll usually see at least a few people trying to get on the united painted airplane while their ticket says delta......
