There is more. One of our Pilots, who fancies himself an attorney, came to the conclusion that a pilot could be held accountable in a neglegence case. The S-2T/G is not a certified aircraft. Manufactuer gross weight is less than Marsh conversion GW. But, CDF directed Marsh to bulid the A/C to FAA air worthiness cert. spec.'s to ensure quality. Thus they came with AW certificates. If an incident occurred with an A/C operated over manufactuer GW, the pilot could be held accountable. The FAA has told us that, to be 100% Pub. use, CDF must surrender AW certs.
