At home killing some time today I decided to go on Monster.com to see what kind of jobs are being advertised. Two things I saw surprised me, I mean they did but they didnt.
United had an ad for rampers.. qualifications 18 years old and at least a 10TH grade education.

Another was for a pharmaceutical company (Banner health) looking for a FO for their Coporate flying departmet, starting pay 14.93 per hour. Thats got to be close to what they pay the janitor!

Trust me im not trying to bash anyone, I threw bags for Skywest in college. If you cant graduate high school you dont belong anywhere near a sterile area on airport grounds.

Check out the "duties" on the Takeoff and landings.

Sometimes the guy with the 10th grade education slings luggage the best. Certain occupations require a certain type of person. Too much intelligence can cause bordom and mischief. Smart people sometimes do less well when engaged in simple tasks whereas the opposite may be true of a person of less intelligence.

Too true! The same for ethics. Persons with little or none make great CEO's, since all they need to do is chant, "It's good for the shareholders!" every time they do someting to hammer their employees.
