No sympathy here until I start seeing and hearing LOUD outcry and condemnation of terrosim from the islamic community. Until then, they are all suspect in my book. I know that's harsh, but frankly, I just don't give a rats ass anymore. Got a problem with that? Take it up with Hammas and Bin Laden.

What airline do you fly the A320 for? Well which ever airline it is, I bet you have at least one Muslim captain/first officer at your airline.

If you two are assigned a trip together, make sure you call crew sked and your Chief Pilot and tell them exactly what you just said here:

"Until then, they are all suspect in my book. I know that's harsh, but frankly, I just don't give a rats ass anymore. Got a problem with that? Take it up with Hammas and Bin Laden."

I'm sure your fellow crewmembers will love you!

Oh, and make sure you do both PF and NPF duties... you can't "trust" that Muslim pilot at your airline, right?

Your screenname says it best... "Caveman" go crawl back in your cave.

Hey Clown Boy,

If you're muslim you ARE suspect in my book until your actions prove otherwise. A large contingent of a certain religion has made it their purpose in life to destroy us simply because we have different beliefs. Another large part of that same religion has remained silent. Logic tells me they MAY agree with their more vocal brothers. The only way I have to tell the good guys from the bad guys is by their actions and those remaining silent leave me no choice but to take a prudent course of action and treat them as at least philosophically agreeing with their violent brethren.

A group of muslim clerics praying together immediately before boarding an airliner should cause any reasonable person to ask WTF? At a minimum they should have had additional screening to make sure they were only what they appeared to be, that is, peaceful clerics praying. If you can't see the logic in that you have no business being in the front end of an airliner. I said they were SUSPECT, not necessarily guilty. If they got their feelings hurt because they were the subject of additional scrutiny, too dang bad.

I'm sure your fellow crewmembers will love you!

I will be Caveman's wingman any day. I celebrate his ideals!

The problem is that almost no one in this country has taken the time to learn anything about Islam, it's history, or any other history for that matter. Do some research. Read a few books about Islam, (and don't leave out the Koran), and you'll be blown away. I guarantee it.

We're blinded by our political correctness. However, a "kill'em all" attitude is the surest ticket to defeat. America had the moral high ground in WWI, and II. We have to keep it in this fight too. If we lose it the world will turn on us, we will continue turn on ourselves, and we risk losing it all.

We need to educate ourselves and protect our country through stricter imigration, stricter screenings/profiling, and overall by increasing our awareness of the threat. Hatred and revenge killing begets more of the same. Look at the middle east. History shows that no wins with the "Kill'em all" strategy. Civilization comes to a screeching halt with that attitude. I hope the folks who say that aren't serious.

Very poor judgement on any Muslim's part...group prayer on an airliner. Respect for their religion has nothing to do with common sense and consideration of the current environment.

Perfectly worded. There is nothing else to say.

Wow reading all of your comments I feel I am back in the 50's all the sudden. " We gotta stop those dang n*ggers and jews!" People get a life! These people are allowed to pray by the 1st amendment. This also shows all the ignorance on this board " Kill them all!" Geez dumbasses like you guys drive me crazy!

Where have you been lately? Let us assume for a minute that the last set of A-rabs that got nailed in London with the intent to blow our US airliners out of the sky over the Atlantic were successful with their plans? You along with many of us here would be chatting in the "Furloughed" section. You bet we have to stop these folks! Historically speaking, these are the folks that just love to blow up airliners, behead others, do the suicide bombing crap........and if we dont start doing some profiling and taking this seriously (and I dont mean having the TSA floating around the airport and putting our tooth paste and our bananna boat SPF30 in little plastic baggies), just how many more 911's can we take before we see the light? If you think these folks are just going to stop it, your somking some good north american slope trip weed.

Last but not least, poor judgement on the part of these folks for doing the prayer thing just before boarding an airliner....this isnt MEA at Beirut. They should have known better but I am sure they will file a suit here not before long.

By "blown away" do you mean as in a bomb? Or maybe an IED? Shoe bomb? Or the old "jet as a missile" trick? Every time I hear this line of bunk about educating ourselves about Islam I want to throw up. How good of a job do you think the Sunnis and Shiites in Iraq are doing at "educating" the world? If by teaching them that they're murderous savages who will keep the blood flowing until the bitter end, then I'd say they're doing a good job. Or when islamic terrorists blew up the twin towers, the USS Cole, the shoe bomber, the London bombing plot, the Madrid train bombing, the beheading of Christian schoolgirls in Indonesia, or the many bombings in Bali. I could go on and on. I'd say that their actions are providing a better education to the world than simply reading the Koran. In any religion, whether it's Christianity, Islam, or Judaism, ACTIONS speak much louder than words. To top it all off, besides the constant attacks, threats, and saber rattling from radical muslims, there is complete silence from those muslims who are supposedly against violence. The "religion of peace" is rapidly proving that it is anything but. Muhammed started this religion in blood, converted the masses by the sword, and began a legacy of violence and killing to rival any other religion in history. The difference between history and the present, however, is that WE LIVE in the present. Therefore, I could care less about the history of their religion. What matters is the threat to today's world. It's real and it's not going away. They're organized, well-funded, dedicated to the destruction or conversion of you, me, our friends and families, and incapable of seeing any other goal besides victory or martrydom.

Yah, these folks are experts at bombs, making bombs, delivering bombs, timed bombs, pressure bombs, roadside bombs, throwing bombs and wearing them and setting them off in crowded places. There is a lot to be said for consistency with some of these folks.
