What's the best course of action to get noticed for an interview over at Allegiant? After looking at their jobs page as instructed, I am wondering:

1) Only email my resume?

2) Complete the application, fax it in with my resume AND/OR email my resume?

They don't want all the PRIA stuff with the app initially, do they?

Thanks!

All you have to do is send your resume/cover letter to [email protected]

If offered employment, they will provide you all the forms.

Good Luck! They are interviewing this month for a Jan class of 22.

How about moving this post over to "LCC"? This the majors forum...

I emailed them my resume two weeks ago and got a call last week. I didn't send them anything else. I didn't have it walked in either. You have to find your way and stay to the interview. Seems like a real decent place to be. I'm looking forward to it.

Which bases will newhires likely be offered? What's the likelihood of getting Laughlin?

I would say that most of the new hires will be coming out to Florida, and the remainder will probably go to LAS.

The HR guy barks out "Eighty for Eighty" and you sound off with "SIRYESSIR! You're in like Flint.

And another idiot opens his mouth to let the world know he's here.

I'm sorry that my jest has apparently struck a raw nerve. Please let me take this opportunity to apologize, and to thank you and all of your coworkers at Allegiant for the little things you do each and every day to restore dignity to our profession.

Here's to you, Mr. Making Less Than 50% In Real Dollars Than Anyone Else Who Has Ever Sat In That Seat Man....................

HA HA... That's a good one. How long did it take you to come up with that???

You can spew your crap all day long buddy. I make a livable wage and am in my own bed every night of the week. Heck, I'm sure I make a hell of lot more than you.

Now go toss your boyfriends salad..

Tell ya what. Why don't you get back to me when your take-home meets or exceeds your number of Flight Info posts.

PIC turbine is not a requirement. We have hired plenty of pilots without it. However, without it, your right seat time should involve experience that would ensure a relatively seemless transition to the MD-80 (turbojet, FMS, etc.)

If you are invited for an interview, it's because you have the requisite experience. Bring a good attitude and a sense of humor.

Not for everyone, but depending on your priorities, it's tough to beat:

1. New, growing company, fun place to work
2. Upgrades are 1-2 years
3. Back to back negotiated raises (2-3 year capts @ $85k-$100k)
4. All out n' backs w/ 45 min turns (no time wasted sitting around airports...)
5. Home every night

Not bad if you have a family and you'd like to see them more than a couple days a week...

Hope this helps.

That's a pretty good description of the guy who came out to pump my septic tank last week. Congratuations on your aviation careers.

And I'll bet your septic tank guy has a better quality of life and is overall happier than 90% of all pilots. Your comment is very telling about your happiness with your life.

You're such a tool.. I worked 9 hours of duty time today and flew just over 7 hours. I left my house in the morning and returned home in the evening. I made over $700 today. Call it what you will, I call it a great job and a good living.

Regionaltard, Thanks for being the reason I'm at Allegiant. Delta was a great place to work before people like you were born.

I emailed a resume several months ago and updated a few weeks ago. Received an invite to interview after my recent update. 9800TT / 6800 Jet/TP PIC. No internal contacts. Good luck to all interested.
