Some people just aren't happy unless they're upset about something...

Most pilots eventually realize that their mad skills do not, in fact, set them on a higher peak than that of the great unwashed masses. It takes longer for some than others.

It is the process of realization that is difficult. The pain will abate over time. It takes longer for some than others.

Just have to let it roll of your shoulder and not take it personally. I had a guy deplaning my 1900 ask me if my plane flew The Hump. Without hesitation I said "No but that DC-9 you're about to get on probably did". (I'm sure he didn't know any better).

because you work your friggin ARS off to get them the smoothest quickest safest flight sometimes and in return you get a big "you suck" from them. Makes me think, next time I won't even try.

I work too hard to deal with this stuff!! I'm a pilot!! I drive a Dodge Stratus!! I can do 100 pushups in 20 minutes!!

Impressive. 13 replies and no Mesa bashing yet.

As he was deplaning last week, a thirty year veteran of TWA stated that I was one of the most professional pilots he'd ever seen.

Those rare instances make it all worth it....I drive a Stratus, too!

Thats a 1981 Honda, how dare you!

I've got a little something inside of me that died....... Do you want to touch it?

You are a fick suck -- I think I erred badly in walking your stuff in. Then again, so did you.

"Do you want to touch it?" That's what your wife said.
