USAir/AWA

Still too early to tell.... Anyway ,the sad part in all this is that my wife, who is an Agent with you guys, told me that if the merger goes through she'll have to file for divorce. Said it's bad enough she has to live with me,she sure in he11 doesn't want to work with me,too! ;)

Hey Jen,

I'm sure glad you're back to your 12 post a day schedule: Reading your posts are like reviewing case studies in defense mechanisms and personality disorders.

Carry on...

You guys would be toast in this scenario. So would other regionals. Mesa would take over probably.
Parker and Kirby HATE Mesa (well Johnny Orenstein mostly). Mesa has been kicked off the USAir East flying and is only on the West due to the contract signed with Franke and Orenstein back when AWA was in BK. When the 190's arrive, I don't think the Mesa 90 seaters will be flying in the East system anymore.

The Comair situation would be really interesting though.

Exactly. I get a laugh out of people spouting off about Parker and AWA/US on this board that haven't a clue. I think if this goes through Air Wisc. and Skywest will be safe. Like you said, Comair will be interesting.

How did you get that FAX? And boy am I glad I got out when I did!!!

If you mean out of aviation good for you. If you mean Alaska, I'd be thinking about who has their crosshairs on the back of your head. Seriously I wish Alaska the best of luck. I think the next couple years will see a lot of change.

A little cranky about the fact we'll be around long after Jet Blue is a footnote in aviation history.

Maybe Delta should get the same deal they gave PanAm...TC
