I had to jumpseat on MESA a few weeks ago on their CRJ-900...the FO was 20 years old and only had 230 hours when he was hired in the spring. He told me all about his “Accelerated training” and 40 hours in the CRJ sim Texas. The kid could barely talk on the radios…I am glad that it was not his leg to fly. Making the big bucks at MESA! Living the dream and endangering passengers lives!

Did you tell them what you really thought about them and Mesa before or after you got your free ride. I thought so. No balls except on F/I.

Nice font size. :D

Figures this would be in vermont, the tree hugging hippie capital of the USA. 22 months is creepy but I bet "River" will be suck'n that boob on the way to preschool. Man I hate vermont

My thoughts exactly.

Anyone who names their kid River should be sterilized.

Scrubs

Reminds me of a funny scene in the tv show SCRUBS.

Turk: You know what name I have always liked for a girl? Honor.
Carla: Turk, you know how mean boys are. They would be all like: I got Honor. Did you get Honor?
Turk: Yeah everybody got Honor. She is easy!
Carla:It is your daughter!
Turk: Yes it is.

Free-range, hormone-free parents spawning litters of cage-free children....
it's no wonder this country is going down the toobs at warp speed!

Why no mention of the captain? Was he involved in this at all? From what I understand, the FA told the gate agent to remove the passengers. Where was he and why was he not telling this sissy FA to STFU and get over it?

Didn't read all 3 pages but if you are feed a kid at 22 months there is something VERY wrong with the mother. The max time is 12 months, you start feeding baby whole food at 9 months. This is a sick woman.

My thoughts exactly. How about if the kid was four or five? There are women who nurse their children at that age. Starts to get creepy. If the kid can hold a "sippy cup", he's too old to nurse.

That's what I'm saying! I also heard this wasn't exactly "discreet" either; top off, tit out, no blanket, etc. But its for "the children", so modesty be danged!

Actually, word is that if the flight attendant was smart, she would have asked if the baby fo could get in line . . . . .

BTW, these broads have WAY too much time on their hands . . . I mean, holding a rally in public at the airport ticket counter to breast feed in front of everyone just to prove some stupid point. Get a life!

I asked a passenger to show me proof of age for sitting in the exit row....she pulled her shirt up and showed me her breasts stating: "how's that?"
....I was too distracted to remember the question.

Let's see your lactation speciaist credentials buddy. Nine months, twelve months, twenty-two months... all arbitrary. Very simply, nursing is good for kids. America somehow manufactured this myth that one year old is a magical time to wean. It isn't. A lot of moms don't go beyond a year for reasons I totally respect... time, job, discomfort, pregnancy, willingness to reclaim one's body, anything at all is perfectly respectable... except the arbitrary "it's been a year" reason citing it as if the one-year-mark has medical or biological significance. Consider what is and what is not censored in news media, books, and movies in this country, and it becomes clear that Americans are for reasons completely outdated and patriarchal horrified at boobs and not at war, death, and violence.
