Spoke to a friend of mine at Skywest last night. He said that they are losing pilots at a record pace. In fact, if his numbers are right, their attrition is about the same as ASA.
Must not be too good over there!
No. Its that I don't want to leave, just to fly with a poophead like yourself.Hung like a mouse said:Yeah,,
Gulfstreamers are the "real" pilots here. I guess you would not dare quit, hate to loose your investment.
sad, sad, sad.
Let 'em leave. Most of 'em weren't 'at gooooooood at flyin' anywho.

Put down the bottle before you type, my friend.
Not very flattering of you. I didn't choose to lower myself like a prostitute to fly a 1900,,, ohh, I'm sorry, now an EMB turboprop.
Guess you know a lot about the "head of dicks",,, since that is what it takes to be there.

Hey, way to ruin a thread and an evening by taking personal shots. Work quicker!
Ok. Fair enough.
Where do you work?
I currently work as a contract pilot flying a Citation for a land developer in South Florida. No, I will not tell you the name in a public forum, if you still feel the need to know, PM me.
2. How did you get hired there?
I was refered by 2 different people who know me from the Northeast. I did not apply for the position, the Company called me.
3. How did you build your time?
Some by being a CFI, most by flying either frieght or passenger charter.
4. Tell us every plane you have ever flown
Ok, but in fairness to you, I started and owned 3 FBO's in the Northeast. So, I have either owned (and thus flown) just about all the Cessna singles from 150's up, most Piper singles, from the taildraggers up, 310's, 402's B+C's, 414's, 425's 441's, Piper Chieftains and Cheyennes (sic). Got a little bit of MU-2 time too. But not enough to comment on. I currently own and fly a Piper Saratoga, and a North American T-28B.
Tell us which ones you rented.
Ms. Russian, I have not rented an aircraft in close to 30 years. So, not sure that is applicable.
Tell us which ones you flew for free when you should have been paid.
Honestly,,, none that I remember.
Tell us when you flew for below average pay "just to get a chance".
I never did. Really. And I paid my people what most would say was above wage, and still made enough money to be able to sell off at 50. It can be done.
5. Tell us your education level and what schools you attended.
I graduated from High School. Went to college for a month. Was not for me.
6. Tell us how you paid for your flight training and college (if attended).
I worked as a truck mechanic (which I enjoyed) to get my private through CFI. And, was married at the time. Rest of my "luck" was either willing to show up or personality. But, always got paid correctly for it.
I should not have dumped on you, and I am sorry. But, and I mean this, I know 2 people from the Northeast who are either flying for you, or were. One tried to fly for me. Was THE worst piot I saw. So, based on that, and only on that, I have no regard for GIA.
Sorry that I lashed out on you.

Sorry, forgot to mention. Got my Turbine time after the Piper Turbines (because I can't spell the name correctly tonight to sell my soul) in King Airs. Had one for a lease back, then bought my own.

Why is everyone still here? Theres nothing to see here.
Ahhhhhh,,, you had me until that one. Sigh.
Clay Lacy is someone who trampled on others, so,,, I just can't say he is a good guy.
I'm not a huge union guy, but did belong to both the Machinists and Teamsters in my life. And,,, saying that,, I just could not,, would not,,, walk by fellow pilots on stike to get a job.
Sorry, Ms. Russian,,, I bet you really are a nice person, and a heck of a pilot also. But,, one is judge by their actions. And that was a very bad action by Mr. Lacy.

And I am glad neither you or I are redlined!!,,, yet
