Reserve Time

Lots of threads talk about specific airline reserve time, can current FOs who work for various regionals help the FNGs on what the expected reserve time is for their company and aircraft? This was its all on one thread

this kind of thing changes weekly....one day people can be getting lines right out of training, the next day they'll be sitting on reserve for more than a year.......If you go to any regional these days, I would expect at least a year on reserve. If it's less, then you're happy......if it's more, at least you didn't expect a month on reserve......you're happy....

No matter what you EXPECT, if you spend a year on reserve, you will NOT be happy.

PSA -----490 days and counting----

It goes like this....You ask for Last Out, you get the first call.
You ask for first callout and you get last.
You ask for a late reserve time ie:12 noon to 2 am next day....
You get 5 am hot reserve.

See a pattern here?
Before they used to take open time and give it to the IOE.
Now they just make everyone bid an additional 10 lines. For the 10 people in training.
Of course it is all my fault. I did after all take the job.

EAGLE:

Props less than a year except Saab in LAX which is much longer. San Juan is the fastest.

CRJ: Forever, years at least.

ERJ: ORD 18 months, DFW two years, BOS and NY two years. LAX five years.

But then again. 3 days off then 4 days reserve and 4 days off. 4 days of reserve consisted of: 1 leg LGB for 32 hours(hotel had a free harbour cruise with free booze and food). 2 legs to SAT. 1 leg back and released at 7am last day of reserve. I know, shut up and go back to the majors thread.
