I applied at the end of july and just recieved this email. Is this a thanks but no thanks email?

"Pilot - First Officer
Pilots are responsible for ensuring the safety of ExpressJet customers while working cohesively with co-workers on the plane and on the ground. ExpressJet is recruiting skilled individuals with the drive to establish a career with the largest regional jet operation. If you do not qualify for our pilot position at this time, please reapply in three months. Minimum flight hours may fluctuate as the airline industry changes and ExpressJet grows. "

my buddy got the same one....then a week later he got the interview email, with your times i don't see why you wouldn't get the interview

What are the minimums? I have 1200TT, 400ME, 4 year degree.

I would call the number from the website and talk with someone. they will let you know where you stand. I had a buddy do this and they told him where he stood on the list to get called.

Good Luck Boss

Last month I got an invite to an interview. I never responded due to getting a job at another regional. Tonight I got a similar email telling me to f**K off.

I checked my status online at expressjet.com and it said i was "disqualified". Oh well, who else is hiring?

I still suggest calling them if you are still interested and find out what disqualified you. Are you current with you mullti time, do you currently have a full time flying job? Those were things that where tagging people in the past. Good luck either way.

No worries, I applied and interviewed back in January and got the "We can't offer you a position at this time" chat as they shove you out the door. The irony is that I now work for CHQ on the same airplane, and will be working Continental Express starting 2007... go figure.
