Alaska still rules.

I like how we bought 5 leased MD's so we can turnaround and sell them to Allegiant. Also have you noticed all the new ground equipment lately. I don't know if we bought it or if menzies did makes you wonder? New paint and signage on the hangar as well????

I heard all the md's have been sold to a company in England. We have a short term lease with new company until the end of 09. I guess one of our MD Capt's was the broker on the deal.

I like the fact of the biggest quarter earnings, without the write offs, and Bill says we still need to cut our costs. I took his quote as a direct shot at us, the pilots.

We're getting the same kind of crap from Pinneo - "Costs are too high! (hint, hint)" Should be fun once BOTH pilot groups are in negotiations.

Both pilot groups? Horizon is up as well?

In negotiations right now. Company wants us to "migrate to market based wages." They've been throwing that new catch phrase around everywhere. Pilots just laugh at them.

Market based wages, I like it!. Our fearless leaders are using "Best In Class".
A little hint, if you are making a great salary, you are not "Best in class".

SWA is NOT Best in class, however a few companies who recently took major concessions are now at the top of the list. Oh the irony!!

Don't worry, those F*ckers aren't gonna get a f*cking penny from us.
