I have applied with expressjet, however I am wondering if it is recommended to update your application or not? I know many people who have applied at expressjet and never updated and never got hired. I also know someone personally that updated 3 times a week and got hired within 2 months.

I remeber hearing a while back that you shouldn't touch the application with expressjet because the computer system will send it to the bottom. Is this true?

Thanks,

Whats odd about XJT is that they seem to hire lots of pilots who are way below 1000 TT but all seem to barely have just over 100 hrs. of ME.

Thats what I thought too... Anyone have any other ideas on how not to get the resume sent to the trash?

Under the old application process, it's true that you're put back at the bottom of the stack.. But recently we updated the system, you *should be able to update the application. Best of luck, we're hiring like crazy right now. And I still beleive this is the best company in the industry.

I don't know if that's consistent with my experience. It may be true sometimes but in my new-hire class, there were quite a few guys with 2000-3000 hours of jet time. Most people were between 1000-2000 hours of piston and turbine time.

pilotguy,

Show up to their next interview on the 23rd and pretend to be me. I dont want the interview because I have been hired by another regional. By the way, It took 2 months for them to reply and I never updated my info.
