Hey just got back from Manassas and was told to expect fast upgrades over the next 12 months or so. They said United flying is increasing to IAD and that we will be going to Midway in the spring with newer (old) Saab B models. Something about down-state Illinois. Who knows, but it made me feel happy inside!
 
It would be nice to hear Colgan flying farther southeast. That would make me feel happy inside. Expansion is always good news for those who are close to upgrade. Maybe some of us can get out of debt.

I think that you are correct, because the recruiting department is gearing up for some "significant" hiring in the future. 3 SAABS definetly coming with options for 7 more. Possibility of either more UAX flying out of IAD and more COConn. out of CLE. I thought that Colgan lost that bid for flying out of Midway?

Probably explains the 4 transitions in November and the 3 in December.
 
yeah 4 a month....man that is speedy...good thing to because boy I am not ready to upgrade... I am not mature enough to handle all the money that comes with it...i might just squander it away..
 
4 a month yeah we must have gotten at least 10 more airplanes. Anymore airplanes we might have to do 5 upgrades a month that would be insane upgrade time would be like 3 months.
 
yeah they should upgrade more a month.... with the percentage of guys failing we will need to hire street captains again. I have flown with some of the FO's that have went through or are coming up. Dark days are coming. Look at that lardass in PQI and the dork from PQI who just upgraded. Dark dark days.
 
Colgan will be adding another code share and 10 more saabs in the first part of next year in the northeast

you would just do as you are told or we would go down to manassas and talk to the CP and you can explain why you are such an a**hole for doing that "on purpose". What are you going to do tell him I made you cry on FI? I didnt say all FOs suck but there have been quite a number that failed upgrade and some that busted PCs. That is a FACT. Others who cant do walkarounds and see "obvious" problems on the plane. There are some very good FOs and they will make good Captains.
 
Coolside LoL . Lard ass that made me laugh. I have personally spoken with him and he prefers big boned or " I have a gland problem". That is funny though. You are stealing my thunder Captain Lindbergh. Nobody apparently told you I control the sarcastic Colgan posts not you. I don't sleep on the coolside of the pillow like you mama's boy. I like it hot that is how I roll. I sleep and thrive in my own pillow sweat and druel. Listen there Captain friggin Cowboy, don't be all pissed at us because you can't get a job and leave Colgan. It isn't our fault Southwest and Airtran think you would be a liability if they hired you and they would waste money training you. Your stuck here forever until you decide to move onto another career. Everyone is failing PC's and upgrades lol. That is because of crappy captain's like you not setting an example and mentoring the FO's. I flew with you. I wasn't going to say anything but I am pretty sure the stickshaker on climb out isn't an approved procedure. Hey here is a tip Telex headsets are great for Boeing and Airbus Jetliners not Saab 340's you deaf bastard. Just face the facts you are a lifer here at Colgan like me. Just sit there and shut up we could do without your useless comments on our message board. Hey I was curious that incident you have on your record will that prevent you from getting hired somewhere else is that what this is all about? Runways incursions suck except you were taxing not the FO.

poor dork.... I am not who you think I am... I have a spotless record... stuck here? I havent applied to any other place... I made money outside of this industry and dont have to go anywhere but if I chose to I will. My record is spotless you little geek. I dont use telex headsets and I wont shut up? Own sarcasm? There's a lot of sexual tension between a couple of you boys on here, and I don't like it. You wouldn't talk to each other like this in person, so don't do it on here. Keep this going, great entertainment. I wish we had more arguments like this. This is what really makes FI a great pasttime. Just imagine how boring this website would be if all anyone talked about was scope and contract drivel.

Prop, CONGRATULATIONS! You might be the first person I have ever seen use the word, "you're" correctly in the whole FlightInfo web board! You must have gone to college... at least for a little while. I think we FlightInfo should hand out diplomas to guys like you.
