Just read an e-mail from a buddy who forwarded an article about UAL and their shareholders wanting to increase market share. The article talked about overcapacity, accusation, and mergers. The bottom line is it focused on bringing up the price of their stock in order to make the shareholders a lot of money while leaving the employee's of UAL in not such a good light!

I thought I just read something about Tiltan getting a raise for bring UAL out of bankruptcy. That's pretty typical of upper management. Hope this isn't true for the UAL folks and the rest of the industry.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

What! this is a suprise to you?

Didn't Tilton just get a contract extension for 4 more years at $805,000 a year plus stock etc? I don't think Tilton would be a part of any new merged entity.
