I'd like to know also- I thought they were at BFI, but there is not much info about them that I have come across.

An FO position in a 12,500 pound airplane is more of a favor than a job. I think if you are getting 25,000 with benifits than you are getting a great deal.

With all due respect, if you want to be corporate pilot then be one. No one out here gives a crap about your 70,000 lbs Whistling $hitcan of Death commuter job.

I have know lots of airline friends who have lowered their standards and are flying 12,000 pound citations. Why, because the pay and QOL were better.

My advise here, my young friend, go out and start shaking hands. Meet people. Apply for jobs in Citations, King Air's and the like. Once you have EARNED the respect of your peer group you will find yourself in a postion where you might be interesting to group such as Werehouser, Vulcan, Mente and the like.

I bet while you are it, you will make a few more dollars and might see something interesting.

Hey buddy, I'm not looking for anyone here to care about my commuter job. I'm not trying to upset you or anyone else here I just called that Citation FO job as I saw it. I figured an airplane that doesn't need an SIC per regulations and has one for insurance minimums most likley won't pay more than the difference between single and multi-pilot insurance. Thats all I was trying to say but it looks like I frustrated you some how.

Maybe I do want to fly corperate and I would trade in my "Whistling $hitcan of Death" (as you so eloquently put it) to fly a King Air or a Citation but I came from a King air where the airplane sucked, the pay sucked, and the managment sucked and everyone kept saying "pay you're dues and better things will come" well to me the better thing was flying an RJ because I now have 19 hard days off and I don't have to dump the lav myself. Now I had a few leads but the best there was at the time was: "I'll give you $100 a day to sit right seet in my Beechjet, about 3 times a month."

I'm sorry man but I couldn't take that and run with it, now if I'm trying to do some research and get back into the corperate world or just get a job answering phones at an FBO on my days off why do you care? Why does it make you so angry?

Maybe you're the type of guy that detests airline pilots regional airline pilots specifically. I met alot of those guys at FBO's durring my last job, some of them ever refered to airline pilots as "airline-trash" or "airline pukes" only to learn that some of them ended up flying a G-III because their dad "knew somebody". I don't think I'm high and mighty, and I never implied such a thing (or ment to). I certainly wasn't high and mighty or lucky enough to get a nice job after attempting to get my foot in the door.

What I do know is I had a job flying a King Air and I think I earned the respect of my peers (the ones who didn't laugh at me while I was dumping the lav myself would come over and talk and say "better things are coming") but it didn't pan out like you said any when the airplane went up for sale I couldn't say no to real money and benifits just to make $500 a month flying a BeechJet. I also know that I've been passed up for a job just to see it go to the owners nephew that had all of 450 hours.

So, sorry to bother you - hope you understand my point of view a little better now.
