They are Cass. They are unlimited JS. List with Res 1-800-452-2022. Just have them list you as a standby for the flight, then have the gate switch it to a JS. It makes it easier on the gate agent.

Midwest Express? Let me think... Oh, do you mean Midwest Airlines? Yeah... I think they dropped the "Express" ALMOST FOUR YEARS AGO!!!

Hi!

Yes, they did change their name, but it's still confusing to most people. I also don't quite understand their feeder. Their name was Skyway, but now their planes say Midwest Connection, but I think the co. itself is STILL called Skyway???

The Midwest Express name made people think it was a feeder for someone else (as in United Express), and Skyway didn't sound like it had anything to do with MidEx (it is a 100% wholly-owned feeder), so they changed the names to Midwest Airlines and Midwest Connection.

They are based in MKE and MCI, and they have recently announced the intent to add another feeder that will fly 25, 50-seat feeder aircraft for them.

PS-My airline is CASS also, but we don't have a jumpseat agreement with Midwest, so I'm assuming that I couldn't use the CASS system to fly with them. Also, we have a 3-letter identifier, so if the Midwest gate software won't accept a 3-letter identifier, it won't matter if we were on the list or not, because their computers wouldn't be able to pull up our airline's CASS info.
Anyone with answers to the above???

Have you ever heard of d/b/a.
Does Expressjet sound like Cont Exp.?
Wow

it's like asking if valuejet is in cass, but it is airtran

Man your such a fuking loser.. How many times are you going to change your screen name. Why the fuk would you bring up AirTran on a Midex discussion? By the way jackoff it's spelled valuJet. At the very least spell it right. Small v Capital J and no e.

I still think Skyway should change their callsign from "SkywayEx" to "BrewCity" or even "MidCon." That would be cool.

I've jumpseated a lot on MidEx, especially last year, and they were great! Great pilots, great FAs, great cookies! Keep up the good work, ya'll!

Skyway, Skywest, Midwest, Air Midwest, Midway, what's the difference?

Nobody, and I mean nobody, can get any of them straight. A typical conversation always goes like this:

Me: "I used to work for Midwest."
Someone else: "Oh yeah, I had a friend that worked at Midway."
Me: "No, I worked at Midwest."
Someone else: "Oh, OK. How did you like working at Skywest also?"
Me: "Actually, it was Skyway."
Someone else: (deer in the headlights look)

Or...
Me: "I used to work for Midwest."
Someone else: "I never heard of them."
Me: "Well, they used to be called Midwest Express. I worked for their feeder before that --- Skyway."
Someone else: "So Skyway is a commuter airline to another commuter airline?"
Me: (just give up)
