ZED Tickets/Coupons

Question: While using a ZED Ticket/Coupon and your a Piedmont/US Airways Employee and your having your wife use it on United/Skywest and its a two leg hop (MSN-ORD-CMH).......When you are in MSN should the gate agent collect only the MSN-ORD paper Zed Ticket/Coupon or should the gate agent take both ZED tickets/coupons?

Also...what if your still doing the same thing (MSN-ORD-CMH) but your ZED Tickets/Coupons say the opposite route:

First ticket: CMH-ORD
Second ticket: ORD-MSN.

You should still be fine because its based on mileage correct?

The agent in MSN will only take the MSN-ORD coupon and then the ORD agent will take the other segment.
