YUM! Brands

Pete,

The type rating is not a requirement.

A good attitude is a requirement.

Good Luck,
capt601

capt601,

Sorry for any confusion, but the website I mentioned does show the position as being filled.

Glad to hear there's still a chance at getting a shot at an interview.

Thanks for keeping us up to date.

I think on the corporatepilot.com site "open until: filled" means that the position does not have an application deadline, but is open until a suitable candidate is found.

unrelated...

Capt601...

btw... I notice that there is no Taco Bell here @ PV, what's up with that? And as part of your benefits, do you get TB coupons? Wife wants to know.....

:)

FLywrite, thanks for clearing that up. You're right.

Capt601, you wrote "The type rating is not a requirement. A good attitude is a requirement."

On climbto350.com the position is advertised with the following info spelled out in bold type:

YOU MUST BE TYPE RATED IN TYPE TO APPLY! THIS EMPLOYER HAS REQUESTED THAT YOU INFORM THEM OF YOUR LAST Challenger 601 PC.

Capt601,

Was the first officer position ever filled?

I think I may be able to clear up some questions. About 6-8 weeks ago I overnighted in Corp. Christi. I rode to hotel with a Southwest crew, and an ASA crew. We met up later in hotel bar and introductions were given out. Throughout the course of the conversation, one of the pilot's said she had just been hired on to a Challenger in ONT. Capt601, I will not mention her name because she seemed to want to stay anonymous, and I will keep that going. But tell her the frac pilot that was talking to her in the bar and at lunch the next day say's "hello", and I hope she is only carrying her own bags now! That should get a smile, but also a story about some very egotistical people she had the misfortune of having to fly with. I hope that my assumption ( read W.A.G.) that this is where she is, is correct. She is a very nice person and I'm sure a benefit to your flight department!

Tailwinds!
