This is for those of you who took the 135 ATP written.

I'd like you to describe the testing experience, as you found it.

How did it compare to your study in preparation for the test. Were there questions you did not see in the question study group? How many question involving calculations?

What was the area of greatest emphasis?

Thanks.

I took the 135 written,

It was 80 questions

I bought the Gleim ATP book and began reading it cover to cover for a month straight. Made an appointment at the schools CATS center and just took it. Scored a 96.

There were a few questions I did not recall seeing in the book but I am sure it was just me and my bursts of frantic studying.

If I remember the test focused more on the regs than anything, it seemed like they made up about half of my test and were scattered all through out but heavy at first, then intermingled with the other test questions as the exam moved on.

The roughest parts for me were the calculations as well but I think I only had 9 or 10 that caused me to slow down beyond my normal pace.

I was expecting a pitiful grade after I completed it, but when the score screen popped up I almost fainted.
