I flew a little over 50 Young Eagles back in the late 90s. It was loads of fun. I recommend you do it.

It sounds like a good organization. Do you worry about insurance when flying with other peoples kids? Almost seems like a recipe for disaster.
 
I never did. I had hull and liability insurance. In addition, everyone had to sign a liability waiver before we took a flight.

It was no more of a liability to me than flight instructing. Just think of it as younger students :)
