Well, I got official permission from my dad tonight that as soon as 'my' training plane gets out of the paint and interior shop, I can start my flight training! P)
A guy from Batesville, AR, (Russ Amos, anyone know him?) who is a cropduster during that season, and who has been a long-time family friend and emergency pilot, will be giving my lessons. I took a flight in late 2004 with him, my dad, and one of his students in his 172 (the first time I had ever flown any kind of Cessna; my dad is a Piper guy), and he said I "took after my dad", which was a serious compliment.
I'm also going to do spin training during my PPL training, so that should be interesting knowledge to gain. I'll most definitley post some pics along the way, especially of my new baby's paint job.
Here's a question: I know that 16 is the solo age, 17 for PPL, and I think 18 for Commercial. What is the age for ATP? 23? Also, there isn't a minimum age for instrument or multi-engine licenses is there?
