A while back there was a post here on Xtra Jet (Pavair). Seems they lost a Lear today in southern CA. Read article here.

Made the hair on my neck stand up

There was this passenger sitting in the FBO today... we began to talk and found out that we were from the same town.... One of her daughters even went to the same school, though years later, that I went to....

She had said something about the plane that was supposed to pic her up in SUN, had lost contact with ATC..... and now I hear about this Pavair/Xtra Jet crash while enroute to SUN....

How strange is that.... Not to mention this should be the final nail in the coffin for Xtra Jet.

My condolences to the family of all those involved, having recently lost a dear friend in a C210 accident, I know all too well how much it hurts.

Did they ID the crew? I flew with a guy in training who was moving to a Lear at XJ.
