I have the opportunity to get typed in one of these aircraft.
Any opinions on which one I should choose?
Pro's and con's from those whom have flown them would be great.

Thanks

I'd go with the XL.... I've never flown it, but ive been in a beechjet and a diamond... I would rather fly the Citation... Also, I think the XL has an APU... That's always a plus in my opinion...

Get typed in whatever aircraft you are actuallt going to get to fly...

A type without time is almost worthless...

I would find out which one there was more of in my area that I was trying to find work on. Many insurance companies are now demanding sim current even for contract co-pilots.

There are far more Beejets in service that Excel's, however you would make more money on an excel.

Both are good choices.

As was said, whichever you got a better shot of getting more time or contract work in. The XL is a straight forward, no surprises aircraft that flies well. Climbs great and most do have the APU option, which is nice. Pax always like the cabin. I don't know anything about the Beech.
