The really sad part of this is that somewhere somebody is going to justify to themselves that this is a good opportunity and apply to this low life outfit................

Hey wait a second ..........hmmm..... where is that guy who was looking to fly for free to get his 75 hrs of pic............ looks like this could be his dream job

Applicants should expect to be on the road for extended periods of time.

Resumes and cover letters will be accepted by e-mail or fax only. NO PHONE CALLS.

someone should set up a fax spam and explain to this guy how this sucks.. of course he doesn't care, because he'll have the spot filled.. and of course.. the pilot will be just not quite good enough to continue the spot, and they'll have to bring in someone else...

Yup

I like the spam idea. We really should tap the power of this forum and develop some kind of concerted response to these kinds of offers. How many pilots participate in flightinfo -- 10,000?

What are the liabilities? If it would cause problems for the administrator, then we should find another way to communicate the info. However, there must be a way to really let operators feel a little pressure. We might we be able to improve somebodies comp package.

I truley don't want to sound too militant (I have another post that promotes a similar idea). But, United we stand, divided we complain about the state of the industry and wait for it to get better. Lets do something.

Someone had the idea of taping 4 sheets of paper together end to end with FUC* !OU! Written on them, and feeding then into a fax machine. Then as the first end comes out, tape it to the last one making a loop. I still crack up over my mental image of the guy's office floor covered with paper when he comes in the next morning.

Of course, the applicant for the job will have to clean it up as his first official "pilot" duty.

I bet the Captains there feel really safe with the high quality FOs they fly with too...

I've noticed a trend, it seems as though this is the same job that we have been saying the exact same thing about for the last few weeks. If this is true we should be happy that he hasn't filled the job yet.
