Written exam sign-off expiration?

I was signed off for CFI and FOI written tests years.... like 5 years... ago now and never took them. Anyone know if I'll catch any flak for producing this endorsement when I want to take the written exams?

I've looked through the FARs and cannot find any such stipulation on the *endorsement* expiring.. of course I know that the exam results do if I don't take the checkride in 2 years.

Well you don't need a signoff for the CFI written and I think you signoff for the FOI is still good.

Actually, I don't think you need an endorsement for the FOI either.
