"Eat your heart out?" Give me a break. There's one trade group (not even a union) calling for this "strike," but four others, including a real union, opposed to it. Sounds like chaos to me, and they'll get nowhere by being this divided. Nope, I'll take ALPA any day over that convoluted mess.

For ALPA pilots there is no other alternative.... its the skyways or no ways...

Cabbies don't have to have a college degree...neither do airline pilots.

I'm just trying to make a point. We pilots are the only so-called profession with a certain 'status' attached to it (others being; Doctors/Lawyers/Engineers, etc.) that do not actually need a college degree in order to specialised in our trade.

Hope this sinks in.

You are right dueguard! I think all airline pilots should do the same thing as the cabbies and protest transponders on aircraft so the pilots cant be tracked! Or, maybe someone should explain to the cabbies what a GPS actually does.

No I'm not saying thAT.........but here is my prognosis, any pilot group currently going toe to toe with management should come to NYC BREATH the attitude that we New Yorkers have by birth (we're all as%holes by the way)..and then go open a fresh can of you know what to get what a typical American needs financially to survive. PERIOD.

OH BY THE WAY!! A huge majority of these cabbies just reached the shores of the US...barely speak english and have more go get em' than those of us born here! GO FIGURE
