Um this forums is entitled Regionals, not Regional Airline Pilots Only This Means You, Dispatchers. Besides, when the pilots decide to stay out of the Dispatcher Forum, we might stay out of "your's."

Congrats ASA! Looks like your efforts are paying off. Now, how is this going to get you more money again?

....please take a step forward. Whoa, not so fast there ASA.

Actually, what you saw was ASA taking a step backwards.

Don't worry about us though. Next week starts "Employee Appreciation Week", and according to management we're going to be "recognized for our dedication and hard work".

Honestly, how out of touch with reality is the GO?

Since you're obviously so in love with Uncle Jerry, let me point out that since uncle Jerry now owns ASA, we are ultimately his responsibility now. We haven't gotten much better since he took over (most would argue it's gotten worse). So don't go tootin your own horn too much there, slick. Oh, and tell that cute new blond dispatcher from Texas I said hi.

Skywest not so fast. Cards always change players' hands when the game is played long enough!

New? Check. Blonde? Check. Dispatcher? Check. From Texas? Check. Cute? Cheee....wait, what? I think you've been working at ASA too long.

I'm just keeping a fair ratio of ASA to SkyWest threads going on this board, that's all. It's not my fault if y'all can't handle the truth.

We suck!

The only thing keeping us from dong as well as any other regional is our mgmt. These guys purposely design schedules that make it impossible to get back on time.

I remember when ASA was the big regional everyone wanted to come to. We even hired crap piles of Skywest guys because they thought they would never be able to fly anything better than an EMB120. You have to take the long view-if JA would get an ulitimatum from DAL and actually deal with this company-things would get better overnight. It is hard to get motivated and do all sorts of "above and beyond" things when you get pissed all over constantly.

Just be careful with assumptions..... Skywest might have it all together right now, but let's re-address this issue in a couple of years, we shall see how awesome things are when fortunes change-as they tend to every few years.

Well now that we're owned by SKYW I'm sure everything will turn around, not.

PS Delta handles 100% of our baggage, ground service, gates and customer service in ATL. If it's not associated with the actual movement of airplanes, DAL is reponsible; ergo, delay code CR, late completion of checklist.

You guys already complain about there being too many ASA threads so how does starting another one help keep a "fair ratio"?

This made me laffo.

Keep up the hard work and maybe you can get some dong.

Does anyone else get the feeling that XPOO is a dispatcher who always wanted to be a pilot but could not make it through training?

I dont think he lives in SLC, or even works there!
