Are job fairs and pilot open houses worth attending? Does anybody get there "foot in the door" by meeting reps at these functions? I'm curious about the experiences of those who have attended. Thanks!

Do a search under Air Inc, you will find many pros and cons. The pro from pilot who got jobs and leads by attending the fairs. The cons from those who think they are a waste of money. If you have not been it is, I believe, well worth attending at least once.

I got hired as a result of attending one. I think it's what you make of it. You'll always find someone who thinks they are a scam and a waste of money. That's because they went and didn't get hired as a result of going.

Stewie or they know someone who had friend who attended one 10 years ago and did not like going. In order words decisions are being made on reputation and not actual experience.
