Any word on possible World Airways hiring in the near future?

They are hiring now into the MD11 and 8 PFE's for the 10. Don't know if they've filled the classes that start this month. Do a search on this forum and the Majors for info on pay, benefits, etc. Call them at 800-264-3601 and ask the receptionist for the pilot hiring hotline phone #.

If you're really interested in World, I'd be checking their web site daily. They're going to make a big announcement any day. The rumor, which until recently was that World is getting 767s, is now that they're getting more MD-11s. Delta offered a deal that was too good to pass up.

There is a new hire class for the MD-11 starting this month, and they've hired 75 new FAs.

I couldn't help but notice three DL MD-11's in ATL's MX hanger. I wonder where those planes are going? Either way, they were in desperate need of paint.

Bottom line is, when they annouce which aircraft they're adding, they will need to hire.
