World Airways HDQ Information

Wondering if anyone could provide me with information about World's HDQ status in Peachtree City, GA. My girlfriend is interested in a job posting they have in her field; we live in PTC, so it'd be convenient.

My biggest concern is the recent purchase of World by Global Air Logistics and the possible closing/relocation of the HDQ. The local media covered this briefly, but I haven't heard anything in awhile. Anyone able to give a little more info?

I work for ATA. GAL and World are both HQ'd in Atlanta. I think that it's highly unlikely that World will be moving out of ATL on World or GAL's account.

However, GAL (and ATA, N. American, and World) is privately held by Mattlin-Patterson (NY), so who knows what their ultimately plans for the three airlines are.
