There is not going to be any bad blood. Both sides have there 1%ers who will be pissed no matter what. Like scoreboard said, don't hate the player hate the game. That's all this was, a game. The team with more leverage usually wins. That's life. Move on, do your job the best u can and work on creating "good blood" between us. That is the only way this combined airline will continue to be successful and that is ultimately what we all need to happen.

-Peace out

Amen!

FWIW, as an MCO guy, I run into a lot of AT folks on the prison bus and around the airport, and with few exceptions, everyone has been friendly and professional. We have our 1% too, and 95% of them post on FI.

How many of you guys are coming out to LAS? Drop the hate. I spend a fortune on line hooking the crew up with ALL meals and 1-2-3 action. You will see that flying here at SWA is unlike any other place on the planet. Hard to imagine but true.

Dang... I started reading your post and the words that stood out were Vegas... ..spend fortune.... hooking.... Then I slowed down to read it carefully. Lol! I don't know where I'll wind up at 87% but I'll take you up on the offer if I go to LAS. Good luck with the rest of the Dawg fans here...assuming you are a gator fan.

We have a winner! Too bad you couldn't vote on the first go-round.

PCL,Lear,Ty care to comment?

I agree with his comments. A shotgun wedding is the perfect description of this deal. No one wants to vote for it. The Merger Committee itself is telling everyone that it isn't fair and equitable. But at this point, we basically have two choices. Vote yes and have a job with a horrible seniority integration, or vote no and spend the next 10 years in court fighting to enforce the legal documents. Not much of a choice.

I'm planning on bidding the 717 in ATL right now, because I live here, and not commuting is worth more than the pay raise to go to the 737. But, if I end up on the 737 somehow, then I'll probably bid LAS. I love Vegas. :)

I think you'll find that most AirTran guys bid the east coast bases. We have a few guys that commute from the west coast, but not very many.

They just didn't get it. Now, I hope and prey, people will go to the road shows....

This is just too deliciously Freudian to even comment on. And it says it all....

Well, that's the hallmark of a good SLI...everyone's disappointed.

with a horrible seniority integration,

YGTBFSM...what did you want relative seniority, like DAL and NWA? Vote no and go to arbitration... SWA would implode with a list like that and Mr Kelly knows it...hey you have a "chance to integrate" here, and be a part of the most successful airline in aviation history, and do so at industry leading pay all this without paying for type, interviewing, starting at the bottom at SWA (like we ALL did)...cry me a Fing river, you were fools to let the MEC hijack AIP1...you were trying to get the $$, QOL and seniority, you got greedy, I have no sympathy for you!!

Yes, this will pass (not with my help). Unfortunately there is no amount of beer, cool stickers or spirit parties that will ever take the flavor of ******************** out of my mouth. GK, SWA, and SWAPA forced this sandwich down our throats in the most anti-ethical and corrupt way. That's how I feel about it.
Feck u all. I'm not buying any rounds for you guys EVER!

If you're junior to our FO's then tough ******************** about losing your seat.

Gup

Hey you don't have a monopoly on this. I am an FO and hook the crew up especially when I am a little late with the arrival chk or landing chk. Maybe the landing was a little hard (xcept Midway) Heck after the last vote I was treating my Captains especially the senior ones. They were worried most.

Ah well as for this I don't see much point in commenting on it. It's all out there and on here at this point. A fun read though.

Just stating the facts.

If I'm wrong, let's see the SW pilots vote this down.

Do I agree with what OldManPilot wrote? Sure.

Do I wish we could've voted on the first one? Given the facts at the time, no.

Would I rather have that deal (AIP1) than this one? Yes.

Unlike some folks (on both sides) I don't spend a whole lot of time worrying about things that are over. as far as the AAI side goes, this thing will pass. What's done is done, and I'm not losing any sleep over it.

As I said all along, when the final SLI comes out, it is what it is. Only you can control your own happiness.
