PROBABLY A STUPID QUESTION

PROBABLY A STUPID QUESTION, but what does the abbreviation WN stand for? Will I lose my place in the application stack for not knowing?

Perhaps no mention of the exact phrases "cattle car" or "seat anxiety", but among the negative comments or "cons" were several referring to the "boarding process".

I thought WN

was an abbreviation for WaitiN', like WaitiN in the POOL, WaitiN for LL to call me with a class date.....

Race #53

Thank you for that clear explanation

... because Jetblue and Airtran flights are sold out and every other airline is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too expensive.

xXpress1,

You are bit wound-up over the seat-anxiety issue. Listen, if you don't want to consider passenger opinions then you are bound not to improve - right? Customer feedback should be viewed positively. The "cattle car" stigma has been around for years - it pre-dates me.

Mighty fine post, Tred!

Also maybe:

WheN are they gonna train?
WheN are they gonna interview?
WheN are they gonna hire?
WheN are they gonna call?

How about some info on the boarding process at SWA when on standby. Do you wait until all the paying pass get on or do you get an A,B,C pass early on? What if you have children?
On a flight from MDW to DAL do you stay on the plane at the Wright Amend. stop ? If anyone has done it, how long does it take compared to non-stops at about 2hrs?
Thanks for your answers in advance.

It depends....if the flight isn't full the gate agent should clear you right away. If your traveling with kids (under the age of 4)they will do their best to clear you so can pre-board,but again that depends on how full the flight is,and how many revenue standbys and non-revs the gate keeper might have.

I've done it and will advise you to definatly take a nonstop from ORD/MDW to DFW.I did MDW-MCI-TUL-HOU-DAL on the same airplane and let's just say that sitting in the last row of a -200 for 4 legs is not my definition of a good time. You will have to get off the airplane when it changes flight numbers for DAL so the CSs can show you as being onboard, and most Ops people will let you just go right back on board if you want.

However take all this with a grain of salt because I've been outta the SW game for a couple of months and the game rules might have changed. In any case I hope this helps answer you're questions.
