With all the opportunities flying around the system, why choose Compass.

I used to fly for Pan Am Express where a flow through agreement was in place and a flow rate of 3 pilots per month while the mainline was hiring.

Why-

- If you live in MSP
- If you are on a stagnant FO list with no upgrade in sight, and compass if offering 6 month upgrades
- If the flowthru is less of an issue than simple PIC time

Why not-

- No guarantees. This is Northwest after all
- The pay is pretty bad and no one knows the tiny parts of the contract that make up a lot of your pay. (100% line guarantee, block or better, extensions, OT pay, duty rigs, etc)

It's easy to forget that anyone starting out at a regional will be number 2500 out of 2500. At compass you will be 135 out of 135. That's a world of difference. The problem springs from the same issue. 135 pilots are easy to sweep aside, 2500 aren't.

Uhhhh...ok...

My cat's breath smells like cat food.

I used to watch Little House on the Prairie reruns, weekdays at 5pm.
Amen my brutha. That Laura Ingals was one dirty little prairie woman! She can grease my wagon axle any time, if ya know what I mean:D

DrewBlows,.....well then,....that says it all,...doesn't it!

Good one. Did you think of that all by yourself?

Was the exclamation point really necessary? I think a question mark may have been more appropriate, after all, "doesn't it" is a question, isn't it?(!)

Because, in 9 months Republic will own those planes and you will be right back at the bottom where you belong. I give it 9 months before compass folds and republic buys up those 170's.:smash:

You don't understand NWA management! They are not selling airlines to other airlines. They buy other airlines or they sell with IPO so the managment gets huge stock options. Good luck try again!!!!!!!!
