My only guess as to why you guys make less to fly an A330 than Airtran guys get paid to fly a 737 is that it has something to do with waiting for closure on the seniority list before being able to negotiate a contract.

Is there any other reason? Some regionals pay more to fly their CRJ's than USAir pays to fly the Embraer and it's starting to get pretty sad.

Somebody clue me in. It's been years now at that payscale.

Not all US Airways pilots are paid the same. There is still a west and east contract. You're referring to the east.

Well, the easties will blame management, west pilots, and the courts. Fact is it's their own darn fault.

We couldn't agree to a seniority list so it went to arbitration. east refuses to accept the list so is stalling negotiations by demanding DOH(staples 80% west pilots below east). We could all be Delta plus 1-2%, but these grade A morons like their low pay. You have to remember these guys fought management in bankruptcy court and ended up with pay put in place by the court less that what management wanted. Gee couldn't see that one coming... Basically the east could screw up a winning lottery ticket, hence why they're the lowest pay in the industry and unfortunately will be so for a long time.:bawling:

Our management has no desire to get us a new contract. They are saving over a million a month, and their "Kirby Proposal" still keeps us at the bottom so until they can come to the table with a industry standard contract this will drag on. They could have every section but the seniorty done but they continue to go round and round about minimal items such as number of events per month for check airman. The whole RLA sucks and management knows how to exploit it to the fullest.

What did I say? It's allllll someone else's fault. Management was willing to offer Delta plus pay after the seniority list was announced to help them with their merger intentions. That train already left the station and we weren't on it. Who's fault was it? If you're an eastie, go look in the mirror, then bend over and get someone to repeatedly kick you in the arse.

UsAirways (East) is no more than Mesa with a handful of wide bodies. Though Mesa pilots are probably happier and have a WAY brighter future. Look no further than posts by MCDU..always angry and always referencing the past, for his future is dark and dreary.

2 out of three, 1 blame for management and 1 for west pilots!!! Come on, some eastie chime in about how it's the courts fault.

Read one of the CLT updates. You will read frightening stories of all the boogeymen and evil people conspiring against the noble usapian regime. These evil people and boogeymen come in all shapes and sizes, all 50 states, all court districts, and all nationalities. But usapa is standing strong in the face of all that. It is truly inspiring, hunt down a few CLT updates and see for yourself.

Those CLT updates are written by the mentally Ill. Those guys are literally bat ******************** crazy.

Because the pickleballers refused to implement the BINDING arbitration they agreed to beforehand.

They shot themselves in the foot, then realized they had a second foot (their pay) and shot themselves again.
