Only ones I'm rude to are Freedom A listers. Everyone has to start somewhere I try to say hello when I can. Half the time though, they look away.

Hang in there Regional guys you will escape if you keep at it.

They find back packs, spiked hair, and ipods annoying.

Might be 'cause a substantial number of regional pilots are social retards!
PBR
P.S. freedum and gayjets are the only ones on my nofly list. Northwest pilots are just pitied, for crossing their own mechanics picket line.

I wouldn't say we do the same job as mainline guys.

What do you want them to do, have everyone shake your hand and say hi to you as you pass them in the terminal they once parked planes at.

I can see what you're saying, and some are cool enough to say hi, but it's the one thing I worry the least about.

What about at Eagle are the flow back people mean to themselves?

And are the AA mainline people mean the the Eagle CA's...because they would really be mean to a fellow mailline person...or what if the AA mailine guy passes a pilot with a TWA sticker on his/her bag?

I don't understand the hatred. We all do the same job.

Hmm - funny you should open your piehole and post something like this 80for80. I guess I should ask you from your previous threads - why are regional pilots so mean to fighter pilots? Oh wait, they aren't - it's just you that has the personal issue with fighter guys. Hey 80for80, never pass up the oppurtunity to keep your mouth shut.

I'm sure there is some medical help close by that can help you with your small man's syndrome...American Eagle's insurance should cover most of the cost.

Because they read this board!:smash:

If it makes you feel any better it happens to mechs too. I work for Skyway in MKE (Midwest's Regional) and hate whenever I need to go to Midwest's hangar to borrow parts/tools etc... They sure know how to show the love.

I think it is all in your heads! I have never had any regionalpilot go out of their way to say hi to me in the terminal! I can't speak for everyone, but I think of regional pilots as airline pilots! Nothing less! I don't hate regional pilots! Only Comair regional pilots, and they asked for that!

I've never noticed it in person, only on this board.

That being said, the only pilot I've EVER seen with a backpack was a UPS guy. :D

Why? You seem like the A$$!

80for80 is a tool, and the reason he thinks regional pilots are hated is because he runs his fat mouth everywhere. Probably jumpseats and starts talking about his cool RJ and how it's so much better than the 73 he is riding on...

In other notes, Happy Thanksgiving to all!

all the major's pilots i have met have been really nice. actually much nicer than most rj pilots i have talked to. they aren't as into being cool like in highschool than most rj pilots.

Get out of the regional game, as fast as you can. That way, you can be rude to puddle-jumping, bug-smashing, backpack-wearing, wanna-be's who fly RJs.

That's OK for those guys to carry a backpack. They need it to tote around all the money they make!
