You're kidding, right? There is no such thing as 'the best' when it comes to airlines...especially regionals. Every company has its pros and cons. Some are more pro, some are more con. Take your pick. It's kinda like asking what's the best motorcycle... there are way too many variables to choose just one.
 
Whichever airline is "best" today can easily be among the worst tomorrow. In the eight years I've been in this industry I've seen that kind of turnaround numerous times. As a wise man said, you won't know if you chose the right airline(s) until you turn 60 and look back.
 
very good point...Look at the guys in the 60's and even the 70's...what airline did they want to work for?? Naturally, it was usually Braniff, Eastern, Pan AM.... Delta, AA, were much smaller. UAL was too. Southwest?? who?? they were very small for a while when they started.
