It was. Last I checked, though, we don't have any military insignia on any of our whale movers. As you said, "love those reporters..." Hope we gave him a comfy ride!

I think the whale lodged a complaint about the leftover horse bouquet from a preceding charter. Higher mammals - whaddya gonna do?:)

Pretty sure it went off without a hitch. We get calls for that sort of thing all the time. Just hope we can keep it up!
 
I flew a couple of 'dolphin charters' out of Marathon back in
the early 90s....up to MDW and IND, I think it was, in a piston Convair.
I felt like holding my breath the whole way, but everything
went smoothly.
 
Kalitta moves whales and other animals for Sea World on occasion, interesting flights, even just looking at the logistics and equipment involved in making them happen.
