There are no bases. You are NOT on New World Jet's payroll if you're flying for New World Jet. You're on your charter operator's payroll. For example, you are employed by Gumby Jet Charter and you're on their payroll but on occasion you would do trips for New World Jet because your employer, Gumby Jet Charter, has a deal with New World Jet to fly trips for them. It's a big, convoluted mess of companies who all have their hands in the cookie jar. Just pray there isn't an accident or something like that because things will get ugly real quick with the Feds.

And Gumby, why you getting all bent out of shape dude? (no pun intended) :) You could have calmy explained the whole New World Jet thing without getting all huffy and righteous. If you are in fact this knowledgeable about the whole New World Jet thing, then why didn't you explain to CommuterHell how it all worked in the first place? If New World Jet does indeed own some airplanes then answer CommuterHell's questions on QOL and pay.

The following airplanes are listed in the FAA RVSM database as being operated by New World Jet--at least for RVSM database purposes. May not be completely current.

Very neat and useful tool! However, those are just planes that are listed on New World Jet's certificate. I fly two of those planes listed there and they are NOT OWNED by New World Jet.

Waveoff..Dude...Don't get all bent out of shape! Suen1843 did stipulate they WERE operated, and NOT OWNED! SO, what's the problem? Made sense to me!

And I only fly ONE of the listed planes, so looks like you win!

I was simply emphasizing that the planes he listed were not owned by NWJ so that others would not think that they were in fact owned by NWJ. Although it may have sounded as though I was getting bent out of shape I was not. If I was in fact bent out of shape I would have used the angry emoticon like you did in response to my post.:) Stupid internet...sometimes it's so hard to express what you're trying to say without people taking it in the wrong context. FWIW, I have no hard feelings towards you Gumby. Fly safe.

Hold on there you two. I wasn't trying to stir up anything.
I was beginning to get the impression from posts in this thread that some were implying NWJ was a fly-by-night operation, maybe one like the feds are accusing of being involved in all sorts of stuff in the TEB Challenger accident.
The point of my post was only to show that NWJ exercises operational control over the aircraft flying under their opsspecs. I will admit that I know nothing about the current NWJ operation, but as of 5 or so years ago I was very knowledgable about them....and I was on a first name basis with some of their top management. I assume they have not changed from the quality operation they were back then. Maybe not the best out there, but light years ahead of most 135 operations.
