I was wondering if there was anyone out there who gave up their seniority # with a major to work at another airline in the past year, and what was the decision process like for you? Also who did you give it up for and what equipment.

FWIW,

ASA isn't requiring furloughed guys to give up their seniority # at a major.

1st yr pay sucks, but if you're looking for a decent place to ride out the storm, you might want to take a look.

CF34,

What are the tricks to getting in there for a furloughed from a major guy besides sending resumes every two weeks ? If you don't mind, PM me if you have any ideas.

Thanks

It was a no brainer

I gave up my seniority number with US Airways to go to FedEx. Yes, it was a very easy decision. Good luck to you

OK, I gave up my number with Midway to go to Netjets. Another NO-BRAINER!!!

Bottoms up,
gump

It seems like the one thing they like to see is an internal recomendation. If you know anyone here ask them for a letter.

Thanks! I'm trying to track down the one and only person I know there. Hopefully I'll have some luck!
