The last few nights as a line guy at HUF has been really slow so the other line guy and I have been hanging out in the tower/app for something to do. The past few nights a C208 has been flying through the airspace from the Northwest to IND. Callsign was Whiskey Air ( or sounded something similar?). Usually the only things that pass thru is USC, FLX, or SNC. I asked the tower guy about it and he didn't know who they were. He thought maybe they were a fedex feeder.

I tried google'ing it and also did a search on here but I got hundreds of Air Wisconson threads and anything else that referenced whiskey.

They also have a seminole that flies into CWA and GRB, but I don't know who they are.

Two weeks ago, coming back home around 10pm, approach called traffic as a Caravan. Then called the caravan to tell him about us, he used the call sign "WiscAir." I asked who it was and the guy in the caravan responded that they are out of Oshkosh (if my memory serves) and that they are a small cargo operator. Company name, Wisconsin Air.

So there ya go!

Thanx
