While on reserve,in Comair do you get called out, a fair amount, I want to know,so I d'ont let my skills get rusty, also are crashpads easy to hook up with and what price average,Can my wife also be with me in those crash pads? With other guys present? I do appreciate any sort of info tanxs:rolleyes:

Yes, you will be called often, especially while you are junior on reserve. Probably at least 9 out of 10 days you will be working. Not necessarily productively, but working.

As we are 1800+ pilots in one domicile, there are many crash pads. Prices will range from $100-$300 a month, depending on how many people you want to share with. $250-$300 will get you your own room in a nice apartment. I don't see a problem with your wife being there but you would have to negotiate that with the roomies.

Are you for real? I mean...what airline pilot is ever afraid of "skills getting rusty?" Don't worry pal, they will work you to death, and move all your days off around. You will be sharp, very sharp.

Isn't it funny how your neighbors tell you that the DHL truck, FedEx van, and UPS Brown-mobile, all show up to your house at the same time when you are gone? And even on Sunday mornings? What great service! And how she says she "loves receiving PACKAGES....." Now you understand.....

Bye Bye--General Lee

You will fly more than you ever imagined on reserve at comair. I had two months in just over a year where I had less than 90 hours. Those days of staying at home painting the fence and fixer-up hobbies are gone.

That is a new one!! Usually as I take the low road to CHA off 26L, I pass over the house and wonder why all her biker buddies happen to visit when I am working.....

Crj Puppy inyour wildest dreams!!! When you do eventually fly Transoceanic with "ole farts" Remember these 3 rules 1.Never miss the opportunity to pee. 2. Never trust a fart and 3. Never waste a hard on. Everthing else is cream cheese
