Howdy,

I'm wondering what your experiences have been with the online job boards such as www.climbto350.com, etc. I'm not even sure whats out there. I'd like to know if any are worth subscribing to.

I'm currently furloughed, and debating if I should pusure another flying opportunity or take another non-flying job.

Thanks in advance.

I've easily found as many good job listings on AviaNation as I have on 350:

http://www.avianation.com/aviation_jobs/showjobs.cfm

Just click on about the 13-15th page (listings are free after two weeks).

What I hate about climbto350 is that they won't let you stay logged in (no cookie so you have to enter entire email/password each time), and there is no way to sort jobs by type (i.e. "Pilot").

Thanks for the tip. I'd never heard of Avianation before, but they sure have a lot of listings!

My List

I subscribed to climbto350.com for a month and cancelled it. I find that there are plenty of better job boards that are free. Try these:

http://www.jsfirm.com
http://www.avcrew.com/jobs/pilots/jobs.htm
http://www.aviationjobsonline.com/ptscfi/4pilot98.html
http://www.corporatepilot.com/mainpage.html
http://www.flitejobs.com/
http://www.nationjob.com/aviation/
http://www.aviationhome.com/employment/
http://pilots4rent.com/

All of those are free and not all of them have a lot of jobs. However, if you see a job in the US on climbto350 you'll find it on the above. Also try Monster, Career Builder, Hotjobs and Indeed.com. Indeed is a very good search engine if you can narrow the search.

My 2 cents

FWIW, I've received interviews from Climbto350.com and Planejobs.com.I personally prefer planejobs.com just because I feel that the postings are sometimes a bit more legit.
