I am looking for an airplane for a friend that can fly into a 4500 ft runway. He wants a 8 - 10 pax airplane.. Any airplane I should be looking at?? Must be a jet.

You don't mention anything about your mission other than runway length, nor your budget, but it sounds like a good fit for the Citation Sovereign:

Fully loaded, 77 degrees F, 5000' elevation, they're advertising a 3,980-foot FAR 25 takeoff runway length.

Normal layout is 8 pax in a double-club layout (that's how ours at NetJets are configured), but it can be configured for up to 12. Big baggage area as well.

First what is the price range? How far does he want to go from this 4,500 foot runway? What is the elevation of the airport?

Easy answer is a Falcon 50, preferably a 50EX.

Need WAY more information. But I'm betting a Falcon 900 will do it.

cl-300, 2000EX Falcon 50, Falcon 900 ect .... however no matter what airplane you are looking at will put your career at risk if you attempt to land when the runway is wet. Hate to have an over-run. Especially when you have to explain why did not use the more conservative 1.92 numbers. Even if you are 91 you will still get asked ....

From as little information we have to go off of. I would agree that the CE-680 would be an excellent choice.

4500 ft

Citation 680 would be ideal for you and your situation, 15 million , is that the problem?
:)

3 Cessna 182's. Done. Next Question.

Hey! I'm good at this! ;)

Cl30

The Challenger 300 will do that all day long. We routinely fly into Nevis, 3800 ' strip and fly nonstop to Whiteplaines. Coast to coast no problem and no wet foot print crossing the pond.
