Does anybody know how to find the location of a VOT on the field other than in the AFD (or just asking tower)? Somebody told me it is shown on the Jepp airport diagrams, but I can't find it.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
JC

Really I'm pretty clueless when it comes to VOT's. I'm just trying to figure out how you find one in the Jepps. Does it say anywhere on the plate if there is even one on the field? Don't I have to taxi near it to use it?

As long as you are near the airport, the VOT will be useable - you needn't be next to it. Try this website to learn if there is a VOT at a particular airport.

Simply replace the last three letters of the address with the airport identifier.
You see that SFO and ORD have a VOT while CHO does not.

I believe Jep. puts it on the airport diagram page under the ADIS freq. could be wrong though, its been about a year now since i picked up a plate :(
