metro captains and f/o's.... whats the general industry standard for pay on a metro?

oh, what sort of weights can they carry?

Whats Ameriflights mins to get hired? Do you go direct into the left seat, or they have you site around as an FO?

What are the routes like? Please PM this to me.

Thanks!

$47,000???????? I have some friends that work there and they must be on the "B" scale because they sure as hell don't make $47K.

Roughneck, The pay scale goes up a little each year you work at Ameriflight. Base pay for a 2 year Metro Captain is $37k. For a 4 yr, 40k. Plus about a $2500 annual bonus. Base bay is a guaranteed minimum, typically they can make 10-15% over that doing extra runs and charters. If they train pilots, they get more. So SW4guy is probably looking at his W2 from last year and honestly stating that he made $47k for the year. There is no B scale, everyone works off the same pay grid.

fastflyer is 100% correct. I should have been more clear. I did see that figure on my W2 from last year. That figure includes an automatic 7% annual bonus and a little extra work. Pilots that train for us are well into the $ 50's.

hope this helps
