As far as what shows up on the radar screen for ATC it's B190.....now what you put in your logbook is completely up to you, it's your logbook. I put BE-1900 in my "type aircraft" column. Sure miss flying that thing! Have fun, truly a pilots airplane.
>>What is the official identifier for the Beech/Raytheon 1900D?
I'm looking for what you would put in your logbook and what you would put in a resume.<<
Whenever we filed a flight plan, we gave the FSS "BE02" as our
1900D aircraft type identifier. That's the official designation, but I'd still put 1900D on my resume. That way there's no confusion. As for your logbook, who cares. Use either one. If there's a question, you'll be right there to explain.
I know ATC calls us a B190 cause I've heard them call us a B190 when pointing us out as traffic to other people. I think a B190 is also a king air too so I wouldn't put that on the resume cause that might be kinda confusing. Anyways my company flies both the D and C so in my logbook and resume I list them as BE 1900C or BE 1900D.
in the remarks you can specify if it was: LVBroken, LVViolet, LVSh1tty, LVCrappy, LVDumpy, or LVF'ed up (recently departed), need a little help for LVE......anyone?
